STARs (Specialist Teacher Assessments and Reporting)

The STARs (Specialist Teacher Assessments and Reporting) carry out assessments for young people between the ages of 14 and 16.

Our assessors are qualified to identify Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD); they are registered with relevant professional bodies, and they hold the required practising certificates to assess and write reports on young people for a variety of purposes.

We offer:

  • A full diagnostic assessment:  this involves a series of cognitive and literacy tests to identify a specific learning difficulty.
  • Assessment for examination adjustments:  this involves a series of literacy tests that fulfil the exam board requirements for GCSEs, AS and A levels.
